Jacob's Friends And The Snake

When we first meet Jacob's friends he is playing seek and find with Oscar and Majok. Oscar is one of those friends who is always making jokes even at the worst times. Then we have Majok and you cant really call him Jacobs friends. Majok is always saying how much smarter he is than Jacob and Oscar and how he went to school. Therefore when they play seek and find Majok has to count because he is the only one who can count to 100. Even though Oscar says "I can count to ten many times"(Page 12). Off the start i realized Majok was a lippy smart aleck. And he does nothing but prove that statement right throughout the book. Oscar, to me this far in the book seems like a loyal friends to Jacob. Afterwords we meet little Willy who is Jacobs little buddy, i think Jacob will be looking after his little buddy for a long time. On the other hand if anything happens to Majok i wont care, it wont fizz on me, he is a disrespectful kid who doesn't know any better. Just a regular SSS SSS Snake. Messing with the poor field mice. He'll get whats coming to him.
